Everest, we were so close to you,

We hurried back from immortal hills of Ali，we were hesitated to go to the foot of Everest, because we had to pay for the environment, it would cost us four hundred yuan for our cross-country car, besides, the gate fee was more than one hundred Yuan a person, it was not a small expense in all. More over, Luosang persuaded us, “it is not a big deal to go to there, as it is a base camp after all for athletes. We won’t meet the athletes and will be regret to see nothing exciting if it is not fortunate. But if we live in Old calendar, we can live in a hotel where we can see the Everest from the window, actually not only Everest, but also other mountain peaks altitude over eight thousand meters.” I was hesitated. We came to Tibet from far away, should we really give up the chance in the condition that we spend large money? Should we change again to visit it? Other three members gave up the plan, so I had to follow them, as we were a team. Luosang was satisfied with our decision, and played the game of “count seven” and sang Tibetan songs that evening.
So we accommodated us in Old calendar which was four or five hours bus driving from Everest. It was clear that day, we went out to see the Everest. Pointing the peak far in front of us, some said it was Everest, some said it was Gasherbrum Friends Fung, and some said it was Xixiabangmafeng… later, we got on the bus, and discussed which peak it was. To be honest, I regret that we didn’t go to the foot of it, no matter how bad the weather was, and no matter how expensive the fee we had to pay, we should have visited them.
